Remember When FAQ

Question: I created a memory and saved it, now I am ready to create another. How do I do this?
Answer: To add another new memory to your collection, click the New Memory button. You can also add a memory by selecting New from the File menu or by pressing CTRL+N on your keyboard.

Question: Can I save a memory without tagging it with a category?
Answer: Yes, you can create and save memories without tagging them.

Question: Can I tag a memory with more than one category?
Answer: Yes, you can tag a memory with as many categories as you like.

Question: If I remove a category tag from a memory, can I use the category tag on other memories?
Answer: Yes. Removing a category tag from a memory does not delete the category tag itself.

Question: If I delete a category, will all of its sub-categories be deleted?
Answer: Yes. When you delete a category, all of its sub-categories will be deleted as well.

Question: If I delete a category, will all of the memories that are tagged with it be deleted?
Answer: No. Deleting a category will remove the category tag from all memories tagged with it, but the memories themselves will not be deleted.

Question: Can I narrow down my search in the Browse screen? I want to see all my memories tagged with the ‘Children’ category and the ‘School’ category.
Answer: Yes. To narrow down the list by category, click a category in the Categories area. For example, click the ‘Children’ category. The Selected Categories area displays the category you selected. The list of memories on the right side of the screen now displays only those memories associated with that category (In this example, the ‘Children’ category). To further narrow down your search, right-click the additional categories on which you wish to search. For example, narrow down the ‘Children’ results by right-clicking the ‘School’ category. Now only memories tagged with both ‘Children’ and ‘School’ will display. The Selected Categories area displays the categories you selected. If desired, you can right-click on more categories to narrow your search even further.
